Weather in Orlando

Orlando experiences two seasons. Hot and Rainy season which lasts from May – Late September and Cool and Dry season which occurs October – April.

The hot and rainy season rarely has temperatures fall below the mid 70’s°F but sees strong afternoon thunderstorms that bring with it breathtaking lightening displays. This occurs due to air masses from the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean colliding over central Florida. Along with it comes heavy rain – several inches per hour. This time of year also coincides with the Atlantic Hurricane season.

The cool and dry season has much lower humidity with daily average temperatures in the 60’s°F. This time of year sees a lot less rainfall with snow being exceptionally unique.
